Michael Marino is a writer and narrator. He started his broadcasting career in 2006 as a producer for National Public Radio (NPR). In 2008, he became an on-air correspondent for NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday. Marino covers national stories, including: politics, immigration, science and technology, and the arts. Marino has hosted the popular podcasts Barenaked Ladies: The Company You Keep and Strange Hours. He also narrates audiobooks, including: The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo, Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, and Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls.
